Mission & Vison
BOCAT knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In 2019, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch BOCAT.

Mohamed Cisse
President & Founder
Mohamed Cisse (Mo, as his friends call him), founded BOCAT with the intention to assist developing communities by empowering local leaders with the skills, education, and financial partnership needed to fill the gaps that are limiting social and economic growth. Mr. Cisse was born in Mauritania and immigrated to the US in 2000. After over a decade working in the financial industry, Mo thought that it was time to put his background and expertise towards improving the life of others in the communities that need it the most. Mo is focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.
Candice North MD
Director & Treasurer
Dr. Candice North is board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She received her Medical Doctorate at The University of Arizona College of Medicine. It was here, under the mentorship of Dr. Ronald Pust, that she developed a passion for global health and was a graduate of the Global Health Distinction Track. She then did her medical residency training at Mayo Clinic in Florida. She has completed medical missions in Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, and Nepal.
Bowba Cisse
Director Of Communications
Bowba is one of our veteran team members. He brings years of experience and skills from the millitary to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed.
Fusheini Issaka
Executive Team Leader & Program Director/Coordinator (Nalerigu/Ghana)
Issaka was born and raised in Nalerigu, Ghana. He enrolled in the Nurse's Training College in Nalerigu where he received his Certificate in Registered Nursing Assistant. He has 3 years of clinical experience at Wundua Community facility and is currently pursuing his BSC Nursing Degree in Tamale, Ghana.
